Holy Spirit- Pentecost Display

Holy Spirit Display

On Tuesday we helped Hannah Williams-Blakey make a Holy Spirit sculpture in the library to coincide with Pentecost on Sunday. Hannah works in a library in town and organises craft groups for kids of all ages. We started by cutting and gluing together some paper doves that everyone in the school made during buddy prayers last week. Then we cut out some triangles to represent the flames of the Holy Spirit. Once we cut them out Hannah stapled them to the wall to form flames, while she was doing that we pinned the doves to the wall. It is a inspirational sculpture and we feel if you see it you will be touched by the Holy Spirit. Hopefully you can come and see it tomorrow.

  1. Hello,It's Shanika here from Awahono School. Wow how long did it take you to make Holy Spirit Sculpture. I think that is really cool how you do craft groups for kids.

I really liked all of the sun's detail that it had on it. It made me think of the calendar art that I did last year. Next time maybe put some clouds in to the artwork. If you would like to check out my blog it would be appreciated.
