How to Make Cricket Flour

 Jesse has made a blog post on Crickets- he wrote this on his blog to introduce his slide.
 We had to read a story titled 'Bugbix for Breakfast', which was about people eating bugs to save the world, slow down global warming etc. I have made a post about how to make Cricket powder! What can you do with this once you have made it? Well you can make bread with it, muffins, cakes, you name it!         Bishop Joseph Grimes

        Bishop of Christchurch May 1887 - March 1915

John Joseph Grimes was the first Roman Catholic Bishop of Christchurch, New Zealand. He was born in London, United Kingdom on the 11th of  February 1842 and was ordained as a priest on 22 August 1869 (aged 27). He was appointed on 13 May 1887 (aged 45).  On 26 July 1887, He was Ordained as Bishop Joseph Grimes. His successor was Matthew Brodie. He was stricken down with yellow fever, from which he marvellously recovered. After that he was called by his superiors to take charge of the newly formed mission of Paignton, South Devon, England, where he endeared himself to all. He died in Christchurch on 15 March 1915 (aged 73). He was buried under the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.

Bishop Barry Jones

Bishop Barry Jones of Christchurch May 2007 - February 2016

Barry Jones was the 9th Bishop of the Christchurch Diocese. He was born in September 1941 in Rangiora, New Zealand and was educated at St Josephs Convent Primary and St Bedes College.  He studied for the priesthood at Holy Name Seminary Christchurch and at Holy Cross Seminary College, Mosgiel. 

        He was ordained a priest by Bishop Ashby on 4 July 1966, aged 24. He was a priest for 40 years before he was appointed as Coadjutor Bishop of Christchurch on 28 June 2006, and consecrated on 4 October 2006. He was succeeded to the position of the Bishop of Christchurch by John Cunneen on the 4th May 2007. He died of a heart attack on the 13th February 2016 at the age of 74. He was buried in the Bromley Cemetery on 19 February 2016.

Our Korean teacher Ms Han recently returned from Korea after a month's holiday. We had a look at the places she had visited and then students picked a place that interested them to create their own DLO (Digital Learning Object) on.
