Catholic Cathedral College Roadshow!

Catholic Cathedral College Road show

Today the travelling Catholic Cathedral College (CCC) Roadshow came to NBC. We were entertained by many different cultural performances including; kappahaka,  theatre sports (who performed a skit in 1 minute, 30 seconds, 15 seconds and then 7 seconds- which was exhilarating!),  choir (who sung ‘Beautiful Day’ and a song from the ‘Blues Brothers’),  a Samoan song  which was performed at also performed at Polyfest, a Filipino dance involving boys with fish nets and girls dressed in blue and white flower dresses (I loved how they indirectly told the story of marine life getting caught in nets), more theatre sports where they had to freeze in the middle of a scene and start a new one,  a song which was originally sung by Sam Smith, called ‘Way too Good at Goodbyes’ . It was an excellent afternoon and we really appreciate Catholic Cathedral College performance. We (the Year 7 & 8 class) were lucky enough to have a short workshop with the students from CCC at the end of the performance.

It's so cool that you got to do a workshop after the performance with them! What was your favorite act that they did? Maybe next time you could write what you did in the workshop.
Thank you for sharing with us!

The visit from CCC ( Catholic Cathedral College ) looked so much fun and would have loved to get amongst it. It looks like there could be a lot of opportunities for those who go to that college in their high school years. What was your favourite part of their performance? Did CCC enjoy it? IT LOOKED LIKE HEAPS OF FUN. It made me think of the taster day at Avonside Girls where we went to Avonside Girls and had a fun filled day for everyone and did the exact thing that CCC had done. Maybe you could do a performance for other schools. Great job to CCC and hope that all you children at NBC will have many opportunities if going to Catholic Cathedral College.
