What is this?
Inquiry is when we get together in groups and research about a topic.
Why did we do this?
This week we have been changing the inquiry model we have from teacher talk to children's talk. We are doing this so we understand what the model means and can use it when we do inquiry learning.
What did we do?
We got into groups and brainstormed the inquiry model and we explained what were questions and thoughts or what it meant to get engaged in something. Then we got together as a class and created our own inquiry model in children's talk.
Below you can see the first two stages of our inquiry model changed into children's talk.
*What is a Growth Mindset?
If you are wondering what this is (as it is in Stage 2), it is when you stick to something, never give up, you have a 'can do' attitude, you have a positive attitude, have an open mind, try things differently and your mind grows by learning different things. We might do another post about this!!!
